Mallorca isn’t just a fantastic climate and amazing beaches, but also its various leisure centres, shopping malls, or commercial centres.

So, you can shop, visit nature parks, go to waterparks, breath-taking natural caves, stately homes, emblematic buildings, archaeological remains of worldwide relevance, guided itineraries, etc.

There is a stunning range of leisure and cultural activities to satisfy all tastes. The entertainment and leisure offer in Mallorca is one of the most varied and interesting in the whole of the Mediterranean. Throughout the year, there are a series of music concerts, ballets, opera, and theatre. During the winter season, from November to April, the program “Un Hivern a Mallorca” (A winter in Mallorca) takes place. This program comprises a wide variety of cultural activities, ranging from classical musical concerts, excursions to different places of interest, to cycle races and folk music shows.  During the summer season a lot of live and outdoor events take place, that include performances of world-famous plays. International festivals of classical music, jazz, pop, and rock also take place.

Moreover, the city of Palma and each town celebrate their own craft fair, especially during the winter. They also have their own traditional festivals, different from one town to another, that provide a unique range of celebrations that gave an insight into the traditional culture.

Nightlife is attractive and adverse. The are many restaurants and places to have a drink until early hours of the morning.

The two hundred and sixty-two beaches of the island, make the island a paradise for the sea, beach, and sun lovers. The variety of beaches include unspoilt beaches of difficult access and long sandy beaches with a wide range of services. Sixty of these beaches have been awarded the blue flag, the certification that the European Foundation for Environmental Education award to those beaches that meet the requirements for the coastal environment, water quality, safety, and access for all.
